I already reinstalled twice, but the problem still exist.
Is there maybe some fix through using regedit? Something is stopping outlook express to completely finish startup.
It's so frustrating...

What is the best way to uninstall it 100 % first? So i can reinstall for the third time.

RE: When Outlook Express starts it immediately shutdown - Rafael - 03-09-2019

if you already reinstalled then there may be an issue with your dbx files.
Open your dbx files path and move dbx files to another folder. Then start OE to check if it starts.
If still does not starts, uninstall and reinstall again (backup your dbx files)
Also check if your antivirus is blocking OE

I did test all your suggestions, only one time it worked, but unfortunately it is still having the same problem when i try to start outlook again for a second time..
It seems like the devil is playing games :-(

Please let me know the following:
1. Does oe open without DBX files?
2. did you checked if your antivirus is blocking OE?
how to check: disable your antivirus and reinstall oe, check if opens before and after enabling antivirus.

1. I moved DBX files, but even without DBX files oe does not open
2. I disabled antivirus, moved DBX files back without reinstall oe and it works fine now
3. I enabled antivirus again and the problem returned which is a bit strange because it always worked fine with antivirus enabled.
I will try change settings in antivirus so it ignores oe permanently

Rafail, you hit he nail on the head  I use eSet and there was a part of its program that lets you reset the OE program into its default network file again

Bob, you are right, Rafael indeed hit the nail on the head.

I also use ESET Nod32 Antivirus.
Can you please tell which part of Eset reset the oe program? Can this part be disabled? What is the name of this part/function?

Thanks in advance for your reply with solution.

And also thanks for you Rafael, you're the best :-)

Bob, you are right, Rafael indeed hit the nail on the head.

I also use ESET Nod32 Antivirus.
I disabled "Integrate in Outlook Express/Windows Mail" and now everything works 100% perfect :-)

And also thanks for you Rafael, you're the best :-)
