winmail for win-8
#1
I have used Rafail's excellent procedure (03-30-2015)for using winmail on win 10 64bit computerbut it failed on a 32 bit machine.
Am I expecting too much?

Sorry Rafail to have troubled you but as the post re WinMail for W-8 on 03-30-2015 came from you I had assumed it was OK to post you, especially since the Winmail Enable.cmd script had been so successful on my 64 bit machine.
Perhaps I should abandon WinMail and use Outlook as you are actively working on it.
Anyway many thanks again.

Have taken the plunge and installed OE and Disable automatic updates for win10 as recommended, thing is how do I get hold of any updstes to win10 that I might need?
Is there a procedure for over-riding the disable?
Thanks

I have windows 10 update enable and get them and never had to reinstall OE as of yet
Windows 10 Pro 64bit , Firefox 47.01, OE 6, IE11, 8GB Ram, 50mg DSL, 1THD, Emsisoft Anti-Malware 11, Windows Firewall, Winpatrol Plus, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware on demand,

Usually only Major updated on win 10 are removing oe. But if oe needs to be installed, updates must be disabled on windows 10 for piece of mind.
