wab32.dll interferes with Windows Fax and Scan
#1
it looks like OE's WAB settings interfere with Windows (windows 10 x64). With HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WAB\DLLPath pointing to OE's wab32.dll, windows fax and scan is not able to start new fax or open a message - it throws error "%1 is not a valid win32 application". Changing DLLPath to the native one immediately fixes the problem.

Rafail, your .reg file is doing the same as what I posted, i.e. it fixed dllpath, but I hoped that you would incorporate this fix in the new version of OE.

This is going to be fixed on updated version, of course reg file is a temporary fix. The reason that it has not been already fixed, is because new version is not 100% ready yet. version 2.1.1 was created before this fix being noted

Unfortunately, the repair registry entry is not corrected the error (My Op: Win7 Sp1 HU / 32bit, OE: 2.1.1). The English translation of the message (the original message in Hungarian):

When you open the message, an error occurred.
The specified module could not be found.

The many attempts to reinstall the registration key is unfortunately sold out. Sad
Is there any other solution? Thanks.

Unfortunately, there is no solution to the problem within two months. It did not help fix your registry.
Must Uninstall 2.1.1 had the OE program. Instead of another e-mail program installed.
I am very sorry that I can not use the OE was after many years, but I could not do anything else.

Thanks.
