Actually not, this has to do with internet explorer (9 and newer) because oe uses internet explorer parts...
First of all please confirm that your provider does not have alternative port, 99% of email providers have alternative ports.
After, there is a tweak you can do, you can use an alternative smtp server (like gmail) for sending emails. Hope this helps a bit

What email you receive depends on your email provider.
Dont you have old dbx files?
If you have old "Outlook express" folder containing dbx files you can import them using "File>Import>messages"
you can even replace current dbx files with old ones, in that case new emails will be lost

No,
before they where using outlook 2007
that's why we got your product oe6, because we do not have ms office 2007 on the new computer

now, is there a way to convert pst to dbx, as with windows live mail we can retrieve them but not with oe6

now, we can export to pst from windows live mail, but oe6 speaks to our application and it is the predetermined mail, and the user needs to use only oe6

thanks

you can try installing temporarly outlook express on pc that has office and use "File >Import" menu and Select "Microsoft Outlook"

Or else, you can open a mail folder on outlook 2007 (like inbox), select all emails pressing CTRL+A and drop them to a folder on your desktop. You will notice that all emails will be exported on .eml file format.
After exporting, you can drop all exported .eml files to outlook express from that folder.
