[SOLVED] How do I transfer Outlook Express From XP in External Drive
#1
Hi I had & have used outlook express on my a notebook running XP, that was until the notebook stopped charging, I have now removed the Hard-Drive from the notebook & put in a external cage.

I had to buy a new laptop & purchased an HP running windows 8.1 64 bit.

My problem is how do I transfer all the Outlook Express info' settings, contacts, email address's from the old hard-drive onto my new laptop so I can use it.

I have downloaded the Outlook Express from this site which is compatible with my software & installed with no problem & can open & run it, but that's as far as I can get!

My Problem is how do I see/find the outlook folder when I connect the old hard drive from my XP notebook & connect it to my new HP laptop running windows 8.1 & then transfer all the Outlook Express info settings contacts etc...

I have also downloaded both the KLS Mail Back up program & the Outlook Express Backup Restore 2.3, but I don't know how to transfer all the info in the above scenario where I plug my old XP hard drive into my new HP laptop.

I really need detailed instructions & help!! (Step by Step).

Many Thanks in advance.
