[RESOLVED] Cannot connect to server to check installation key

This is the message i get (in the post title) when i try enter the key i bought, is this something hapening often and i just have to wait ? or another problem ?

You must be connected to internet for installation process.
Run oe again and enter the key when cnnected to internet.

Then please check if your firewall is blocking oe installation.

I note that this topic is marked as resolved, but I am now having the same problem and the solution provided does not work for me. I recently updated to Windows 10 Ver. 1511. For some reason I now get the error message "cannot connect to the server" when I try to activate my registration key. I have added the Outlook Express app to the exceptions in Windows firewall but still getting the error message. What am I doing wrong? Is there something else I must add to the firewall to prevent it from being blocked? Huh

I have just found the solution to this problem elsewhere on the forum.
