OE chash

I Use OE6 (especially, messages like dbx files are in a different hard drive partition, D). From a few days, when I open the program, it doesn't "respond" and is stuck ,not allowing me to do absolutely nothing.

I also restored the computer © at a date prior to this crash, but nothing changes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled OE but nothing changes as well.
I installed another mail program, Thunderbird to retrieve messages, but the import is stuck and can not be completed.

No Windows mail installed
What can I do?

Hi fabcas!

it would be useful if you tell us which OS you use.
Do you use Windows 7 64-bit or any other OS?
Did you installation of OE6 run without any errors?

yes, OS is Windows 7 32-bit , installation of OE6 run without any errors and I used it for few months until now

Hello!
It may be a problem on your emails folder (dbx files), maby your folders are corrupted,
Try to rename your emails folder (dbx files folder) ,oe must create new ones (empty) and open normally. If not, try disabling any antivirus or antivirus addons for mail clients and retry, also check if you have live mail installed, if yes uninstall it (it is incompatible with oe). tell us if worked.
