Gmail and Hotmail (Live mail) Account Settings

Account setings to set up your Gmail or Hotmail (live) account for Oulook Express.

1.From menu, open Tools>Accounts and click on mail tab.
2.Double click on your account in the list and set all settings like on attached images for each account provider

Gmail account settings:
For Gmail, after setting  up your acount on outlook express, please follow all steps below:

STEP1. Please make sure that you have enabled POP access on your Gmail account:

STEP2. You must enable this option on gmail for email clients to be used for your gmail:
https://myaccount.google.com/lesssecureapps

STEP3. Try sending email, if fails, you must unlock captcha.

Hotmail (Live) account settings (this applies for outlook.com account also):

Enable POP in Hotmail/Outlook.com (Settings / Options / Account / Pop And IMAP)

   Open your browser and login to your Hotmail/Outlook.com account: http://www.hotmail.com/ or Outlook.com
   Click the Hotmail Options icon Hotmail Options at the top-right of the page
   Click the Options menu item
   Click the Connect devices and apps with POP link on the left-pane
   In the POP heading select the Enable option
   In the Deleting downloaded messages heading, select the Don’t let devices or apps delete messages from Outlook.com option
   Click the Save button

Angry I feel really bad for not being able to use my fantastic outlook.
I have 3 gmail accounts that previously worked very well and after the last update of win10, I do not receive the emails just send them, because if I have not change my internet company (Comcast).
This is what appears to me:
An unknown error has occurred ACcount 'pop.gmail.com'.SErver:'pop.gmail.com'.ProtocolTongueOP3.Port:995.SEcure(SSL):YEs.ERror NUmber: 0x800C0133

I need your help super urgent!!

Hello,
error 0x800C0133 means corrupted dbx file.
Please try compacting your meail folders (File>Folder>Compact all folders) on outlook express.
If that does not help, please check this page:

Why can't I access Yahoo mail anymore? My POP/SMTP names and ports are SPOT-ON. My password and log-in credentials are spot-on too. Everything on my end is fine. I can access the account on the web, so why can't OE access it?

When I try to check mail it won't send or receive. It just hangs. The error it gives says it's a password related issue, but I know that is not the case, because I CAN access the account.

"There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'TAH', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR [SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later.', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92"


I have tried making the typical port and setting changes. I have been through all the settings for a week now. What is happening? Why can't I get OE to connect?

Hello Thomas,
your error says that the server is rejecting your account.
Please give a try with another email client (like thunderbird) just for testing and let me know here if it brings same error.
