Hey,
I've gone through tech support with my Internet provider to make sure I have my email settings correct. I have POP incoming 995 with secure server selected
and for the other setting SMTP 465, again secure selected.
I can send and receive mail with a trial version of another program, but when take that program off and put in all the same settings with RunasXP, I get a message that the server is rejecting my password. Which is odd, because the other email program will accept it.
I'd prefer to use RunasXP, since I donated (paid) for it, but I can't get it to work.
Here's the error message.
I've checked and double checked the password--it's correct.
Also a popup will come up asking me for the password when the Wizard should have saved it. Either way--it won't let me get email.
There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'inbound.att.net', Server: 'inbound.att.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid command', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Best,
Karen
