Hi I had outlook express installed on windows XP the computer notebook stopped charging. I have put the H/D in an external cage & can connect it to my new laptop HP & running windows 8.1 via USB cable.

I have also downloaded & installed Oracle vm onto my new laptop a I want to try & access all the files on the HD which is XP.

Is there a way to recover/transfer over all the outlook setting, passwords, contacts & messages.

Unfortunately I can't access the original password when I set up the account, I know it's a catch all account with 4 email addresses.

I have downloaded the version of outlook on this site & installed on my new laptop.

I have also created a VirtualXPVHD on the desktop t try & run the XP system via the new laptop.

I hope someone can help!

Many Thanks

Coco

Hello,
You can use Backup-restore tool to transfer all your emails and settings.
