Unable to open Address Book
Hi Rafail- I get unable to open Address book, brand new install of Win 7 64 bit and latest OE express installer was used. I tried both install options at the end of the installer, to install classic address book or without and no matter the address within OE doesn't not launch. Please advise, thanks

RE: Unable to open Address Book
Looks strange. Does address book starts from outlook express button (not directly from address book shortcut)?
I suggest trying to reinstall with any antivirus turned off, some times antivirus software may block some installation parts.

RE: Unable to open Address Book
It's the opposite, if I navigate to the Outlook Express folder I can open the WAB.exe without issue, it's only within Outlook Express program itself that it doesn't launch. What's also making it worse is that when I go to click new mail it also throws an error so as of now I can't use the program at all. I have no antivirus installed, it's a fresh install of Win 7 64 bit edition. All the UAC junk is turned off as well. I've re-downloaded and re-installed several times and still have the issue. I also made sure that Outlook Express is the default mail program and Windows Live Mail is not installed.

Other info: from the Tray ICON I tried changing the path to the Address Book to see if that would resolve it, when I try to use that button it throws a vb script Run-time error about file path not being found. Does any of this have to do with 64bit windows?? The program automatically installs to Program Files (x86).

RE: Unable to open Address Book
as final suggestion, please try installing on safe mode with networking.
I believe that some other program is conflicting with address book in your case, please check also if you can run it with different user.
if still dont open, please let me know
