Thumbs Up [SOLVED] Gmail sending problem
Fired up OE6 on Win7prof - works a treat.

Except that I can send email with accounts, but not via my gmail account:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'Philip Sargent (GMail)', Server: 'imap.gmail.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

Yes, I have checked all server settings with Thunderbird running on same machine on same account. All settings seem correct.

Anyone else have trouble with Gmail specifically ?
Reading and downloading new messages is fine (I use IMAP), all folders very quick.

RE: Gmail sending problem
Hello!
I have tested IMAP and works fine, probably you have wrong server settings.
Please check this link (IMAP settings for GMAIL on Outlook Express).
