[SOLVED] Comcast Email
I have tried connecting Outlook Express into a Comcast Email account, with no success. What is the proper protocol and servers information?

Hello Rafail. I just installed & tried your suggested port numbers. It is now filling the Inbox with stockpiled email. But it won't send a new email. They just remain stuck in the Outbox.

Attached are two photos.
- One of the port numbers. (I also tried the ones Comcast suggests)
- One of the Internet Accounts window. It shows two... is this normal?
imap.comcast.net
mail.comcast.net
I have made sure the port numbers & other settings are the same on both.

Please help.

Several problems:

It downloaded tons of stockpiled mail... except from the most recent year.
It put all the stockpiled mail file on Drive C: which is my SSDs. I did not want that.
It did finally send two test emails which I received on the Xfinity webmail page. But they are not in the OE inbox.
When I try to refresh the Inbox, it gives two errors which look the same...

Hello,
that error most likely has to do with your port settings,
As i see, you have set port 110 with SSL, but port 110 does not use ssl.
Please try port 110 without ssl checked or port 587 without ssl checked or port 465 with ssl on incoming server port settings.
