Not Responding
Hi,
new pc build on march 2015 ,win7 ult 64 bit got version 1.6.7 ,ran perfectly
till 30-12-2015, when crashed (non responding on task manager).
After re installing either the old version either the current one (2.1) works fine for the first time after booting the pc but crashes continuously on all the next attempts ! By rebooting without reinstalling the 1rst time is always ok.
No eset antivirus is used, the data files were removed and recreated.
Any suggestions ?
squeezer

RE: Not Responding
Hello,
Did you installed any third pary addon like Antispam?
It also would be helpful writing the antivirus you use.

RE: Not Responding
Please try compacting your folders (File>Compact All Folders)
Maby your mail folders are corrupt. If you get any error during compact, that means corruption.

Data files are on default location or you have moved them? Askign because in some cases, when moving data files to USB external drives porblems may appear due to usb slow speed..

RE: Not Responding
I suggest reinstalling with closed all running aplications.
If that fails try adding fodolook (http://runasxp.com/Thread-Fidolook-SL-for-windows-7-8)
Fidolook addon may help us determine where the problem is (on outlook express itself or bad installation). If it runs well with fidolook it means bad installation.
In case these steps did not helped you please contact me at runasxp@gmail.com to check that with teamviewer.
